Sony has plans to be ambitious for
FIFA 23 Coins its next generation of virtual reality hardware in that it hopes in the near future to get 2 million copies of its PSVR 2 headset ready by March of next year.
The mass production of the virtual reality headset is said to have started at the end of September (via Bloomberg) and has been able to overcome limitations in its supply chain. With the PS5 remains extremely popular due to its lack of availability since its launch in November of 2020, Sony plans to also have more console stock on shelves from the beginning of 2023 as per Bloomberg's sources.
PSVR 2 has yet to be announced beyond 2023, but Sony attempts to ensure that there's adequate stock of PS5 consoles to play games with the new headset. It's only compatible with PS5 and will not be backwards compatible with PSVR games.
What is known about the equipment is that it is equipped with amazing specs. Similar to its predecessor, the PS5 with its DualSense controller Sony added haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, eye-tracking, inside-out trackers, as well as 3D sound into its kit however, it's not yet released an exact retail price.
